We just came back from Cologne from the Devcom & Gamescom 2025, and wow.. What a week! We were there and looked at all the amazing games!
Found new friends, met old ones and got lots of inspiration from players who visited cologne just for this event! We hopped from meeting to meeting with passionate devs, publishers and have been chatting with players who traveled just to experience the magic of Gamescom.

First Impressions of Gentleland 🌱
Throughout the event, we shared our upcoming Gentleland vision with countless people.
The feedback? Honest and mixed, but that’s exactly what we needed.
Some people understood it instantly (and even spotted the hidden Professor Layton easter egg we painted into our thumbnail 👀 for our newest Kickstarter campaign). Others needed a bit more context, which showed us where we can improve our storytelling.
All in all, we walked away with new ideas, sharper insights, and even more determination to make Gentleland something truly special.
A Fun Surprise 🎮
We even stumbled across the Team17 booth and guess what?
They were showcasing Goblin Cleanup, one of our earlier projects.
It’s always great to see a project making it’s way into the public eye!
That moment felt like coming full circle. Events like these remind us why we’re building Gentleland: to connect, to grow, and to celebrate the joy of creating together.
And Another Surprise! 🎙️
We were amazed to discover that a few people we met were already listening to The Gentleland Show on Spotify!
Meeting our audience face-to-face was such a heartwarming experience and a reminder that this journey is resonating beyond our own team.

What’s Next ✨
Gamescom and Devcom left us full of motivation. We even had the chance to sit down at the Kickstarter x ICO x Curatomic Gamescom Dinner, where we connected with amazing people shaping the future of games.
Getting in contact with the people behind the platform we hold so dear.
With all of that energy behind us, we’re heading into the next phase of Gentleland more inspired than ever. Devcom & Gamescom 2025 was just the start for us! Expect more updates soon as we refine our prototypes, share sneak peeks, and take the next big steps together.
